Giant Clay Golem Empty
PostSubject: Giant Clay Golem   Giant Clay Golem EmptyWed Jul 24, 2019 9:08 pm

Note- I did not see a format for creatures so I based this off of the monster manual. If there is anything that should be changed please comment so. This is the first creation of a DnD noob so be gentle.
Giant Clay Golem
Gargantuan construct, unaligned
------------------------------------------------
Armor Class 14 (Natural Armor)
Hit Points 518 (28d20 + 224)
Speed 40 ft.
------------------------------------------------
STR = 30 (+10)
DEX = 9 (-1)
CON = 27 (+Cool
INT = 3 (-4)
WIS = 8 (-1)
CHA = 1 (-5)
------------------------------------------------
Condition Immunities: Charmed, Exhaustion, Frightened, Paralyzed, Petrified, Poisoned
Senses: Darkvision 120 ft., Passive Perception 9
Languages: Understands the languages of its creator but can't speak
Challenge 27 (100,000 XP) (guess...)
------------------------------------------------
Crumbling Under Its Own Weight. The golem takes 20 less damage from Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks.

Acid Absorption. Whenever the golem is subjected to acid damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to half the acid damage dealt.

Immutable Form. The golem is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Magic Resistance. The golem has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. The golem's weapon attacks are magical.

Actions
------------------------------------------------
Multiattack. The golem makes two slam attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 47 (4d20 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or have its hit point maximum reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. The target dies if this attack reduces its hit point maximum to 0. The reduction lasts until removed by the greater restoration spell or other magic.

Hulking Presence. Each large or smaller creature within 120 feet of it must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or become prone. The golem makes a slam attack.

Acid Spray (Recharge 3). The golem prays acid in a line that is 30 feet long and 5 feet wide, provided that it has no creature grappled. Each creature in that line including itself must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 56 (16d6) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Legendary Actions
------------------------------------------------
The golem can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The golem regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Attack. The golem makes one slam attack.

Move. The golem moves up to half its speed.

Busted Vessel (Costs 2 Actions). If the golem took damage that turn, it uses its Acid Spray.
-------------------------------------------------

Extra text section!
This is supposed to be a counter to the Tarrasque with some flaws the original clay golem dosen't have. The realistic building of one of these things is relatively impossible so unless you have a pre-made giant clay statue to avert GP cost, it isn't a valid option and thus won't be explained. Giant golems like this can be found as centerpieces to old capitols and ancient populous locations placed there to guard from the Tarrasque and other strong threats so long ago that its purpose has been forgotten by most. They are usually confused with statues as they have outlived their master and sit there awaiting orders that never come or a threat that never arrives. If you so happen to pose a threat to this golem and the city it is in it may attack you with it's large regenerating body and devastating hits.

If you would like me to make the other golem variants as giants I can do so.
